Sometimes, Shabbat comes in way to early and I struggle to be ready. Ditto with the chaggim and work. But this one was news to me: I received the following message when I tried to teach my new lenovo ideapad the local candlelighting times:

Yiddish
Everything's still up in the air and I'm buried in end-of-the-semester-panic but I thought I'd post a BBC piece on Yiddish, only online till Sunday and an audio slideshow on Yiddish, also from the BBC. Both great fun!
