the religious south at work
I finally dug out that USB cable and could download some photos from my camera. This is what someone was handing out on the second day of class, and on campus. And no, the guy was dead serious:

I just found your blog via A Mother in Israel.
I love the name of your blog. I grew up in Miami, Florida. Not exactly like the deep south, but the weather is similiar.
I joined Partners in Torah last year and am loving every minute of it. I grew up in a non-observant home and knew nothing about my Jewish heritage.
It amazes me how much there is to learn.
Thank you for creating such a nice blog to visit.
